Anthony,

It appears the correct syntax would be your ten digit phone number. How many digits is a phone in Germany? I’m in the US and don’t know much about outside carriers. If it doesn’t work, you might check with your carrier to see if email SMS is available on your plan. That might be the problem. Take care and let me know how it goes.

Hi… installation (in WP2.7) on a server based in California all went ok. However, it’s not clear how an international subscriber should enter their phone #. For example, I’m attempting to test using my German cell# using T-Mobile Germany ’cause they’re my carrier. I’ve entered just my phone# (15115772160) and also tried including the country code (4915115772160) but in either case I don’t receive any SMS with “activation code”. I tried to enter the # like I was dialing from the US (0114915115772160) but that was one character too long… so - what to do?

Can I add more carriers for Spain? For example, orange, vodafone spain, symio, Yoigo…

Looks like a great addition to our church website… if our people are ready for it We offered something similar through Twitter, but didn’t get much buy-in. I’m running it past our youth director to see if he wants to try the kids.

Got it working… Though I’m sure I didn’t do it the “right” way. What I did was went into the ajax form_functions.php and anywhere that it called the “GET”, “/wp-content/plugins/easysms/ajax/

I changed to:
“GET”, “./wp-content/plugins/easysms/ajax/

Wasn’t quite sure about the best way to fix it properly, but at least it works now for me.

Michael,

I think your WP base path is just /wp Try adding your whole URL path under WP admin Settings. EasySMS runs off the base WP path and since your path is a relative path, it’s breaking the plugin. Hope this helps!

I’m getting a 404 error when people are trying to subscribe. I’ve installed manually and via the WPplugins install.

Hoping I can get this worked out cause it’s definitely a nice feature from the looks of it.
